Mrs. Sal’s room decor is very unique and follows the concepts used throughout the year. On one side of the room we find a bookshelf that holds curriculum material. On this bookshelf the decor follows the guidelines that Mrs.Sal is required to have. Mrs.Sal added that decor must be 10 inches away from the roof due to fire hazard guidelines. On the right side of the room we have decor that is hand made by the students. The decor represents topics that the students have covered over the year. Some of the decor is either procedures or examples about certain topics such as science or math. Overall Mrs.Sals decor is very colorful and intriguing for students and for guests. One of the most important decor in the room is the acronym known as RELAX which stand for Read, Examine, Label , Always, X - out. This acronym stands for what is expected by every student at Hodges. Teacher just like Mrs.Sal expect their students to underline and highlight any important information this decor allows students to recognize this important step. Alongside with this decor we have math facts all over the room. Once you step into Mrs.Sal’s room you will also find simple decor such as a number-line and multiplication facts around the room.
